CARBON EMISSIONS AND OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to be the best in the world in micro hydro electric and water resource management: by evolving innovative damless hydroelectric and water transfer technology. We create Today’s Tall Tree Nurseries to support Micro Finance for women farmers and their families using the Carbon Tax Fund, a new form of foreign aid. We export Mechanization into Africa for more productive agriculture. We do all this to absorb Carbon Emissions.
It is the time for a new look at the Carbon Tax Dilemma. A paradigm shift is required: from one of collecting carbon sin tax, which is recycled into investment for economic growth to a focus on sustainable global warming solutions.
The rate of change in the world around us is increasing. The human mental system is failing to comprehend the modern world. Our brain seems to understand only a small portion of the world: the portion that most affects our capacity to survive and reproduce. Our nervous system seems only to be impressed with small dramatic changes.
Politicians being elected and rewarded on the basis of short-term decisions that are by many measures intellectually, morally, and financially corrupt, and the so-called knowledge workers–the scientists, engineers, and others who should be “blowing the whistle,” are so specialized that there is a real lack of integrative knowledge to see the Big Picture.
“We face a true planetary emergency.
The climate crisis is not a political issue; it is a moral and
spiritual challenge to all of humanity. It is also our greatest
opportunity to lift Global Consciousness to a higher level.”
– Al Gore
The ‘climate crisis’ has already morphed from an environmental problem into a ‘moral and spiritual’ issue. The whole doctrine of sustainability and global warming has been designed to engender a sense of collective guilt, and the only solution to the perceived crisis is for humanity to develop a collective conscience.
“Climate change makes us all global citizens; we are truly all in this together.” A crisis often has the advantage of uniting people. Climate change is the first problem on a global scale that we have faced as a species. We must hope that it has the positive side effect of stimulating our global consciousness. No country, no region, no people will escape the negative effects of the impending worldwide increase in temperature. We must all cooperate in mitigating it if we are to succeed.
CARBON DIOXIDE STORAGE
Back in Norway, Statoil also operates two projects to store carbon dioxide under water, in some of the most advanced examples of a technology seen as key to removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere: carbon capture and storage (CCS). This is costly and still in its infancy, and governments have supported it only erratically. In 2015 a mere 28 million tonnes of CO2 was stored that way. To help meet the 2ºC limit, the International Energy Agency (IEA) says the world needs to store a whopping 4 billion tonnes a year by 2040.
The much vaunted Stern Report called for a 25% reduction in global carbon dioxide emissions by 2050. Given the fact that the world population is expected to increase by a third which means the 9 billion people would have to generate 25% less than 6 billion, or a per capita reduction of 50%. This would devastate the global economy and make the Great Depression look like a picnic.
Does this seem almost impossible? In 2006 the U.S. emitted just under 20 tons per capita. This means per capita emissions will have to fall to about 2.5 tons in order to meet the goal of 80% reduction. France and Switzerland, compact nations that generate almost all of their electricity from non-fossil fuel sources (nuclear for France, hydro for Switzerland) emit about 6.5 metric tons of CO2 per capita.”
The two leading Democratic Presidential Candidates, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, have also both called for an 80% reduction by 2050. You really have to wonder if they have thought deeply about the implications of this goal.
Even worse is a scheme that the Global Green Agenda activists are currently pushing hard called ‘Contraction and Convergence’. The United States (currently 25% of global emissions) would be allowed to emit no more than 5% of the world’s annual carbon emissions. If, as required by the UN’s IPCC, emissions must decrease by at least 50% from current levels, then the USA would have to decrease its carbon emissions by 98% from 1990 levels!! Goodbye USA!
And then we have dear old Al Gore. He has called for a reduction in global carbon dioxide emissions of 90% within 20 years! There is little chance that modern society could function with 25% less oil. Cities would be deserted and slowly rot. Infrastructure could no longer be maintained. It would surely result in a massive die-off in the human population.
“Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced — a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level – UN Agenda 21
Human beings have the capacity to cause change at an unprecedented speed. For the first time, large numbers of people are concerned about the state of our humanity. The old mind today is being challenged and changed by many scattered efforts. Can we bring their efforts together to produce a large-scale program for a rapid “change of mind”. We will have to start to change our old minds. It may take a major worldwide cultural effort. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.
Humanity as a whole may now be approaching this turning point in our evolution. Now humanity must develop the global social structures and institutions to play the role of coordinating system in the global brain.
Our ability to sense cataclysmic change that takes place over long periods of time is simply not going fast enough. Unless we consciously evolve to fit our advanced society, we will destroy all that we have created.
Governments must provide the leadership to focus on long term trends and evaluating their consequences. We need to develop conscious evolution: able to detect threats that materialize in decades – not in instants. We need to perceive changes in population growth, sustainable energy, pollution threats, etc. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome.
If we are to preserve society, we will need the cooperation of virtually everyone. The fierce, destructive, and greedy forces of tribalism and nationalism must be fused into an urge to help humanity. Never before has the entire human family been required to work together to build a sustainable and meaningful future. Never before have so many people been called to make such sweeping changes in so little time. We do have the knowledge to take our evolution in our own hands and we can begin to change now. But can we do it collectively?
Human beings have always been the most adaptable creatures on the planet, and they should be able to chart a new course for themselves. Carbon markets have already been established in many countries in anticipation of a mandatory system. In the United States the only operating carbon emissions trading market is the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).
On a personal note, for a good deal of your life you have probably lived like most human beings, feeling that Life is happening to you. So it is understandable that the more unconscious you are, the more often you feel like a victim to Life. The more you become curious about what is happening rather than reacting and controlling, the more you come to a wonderful realization that your life is for you. It you don’t act on this information, your grandchildren may never forgive you.
Carbon Emissions Commitment
Living Water MicroFinance Inc. has taken the one million hectare commitment to produce for foliage, fruit and nut trees in Africa managed by women farmers who are in turn supported by microfinance on their 1.5 acre agroforest farms. The one million-hectare Island of Hawaii gives you an idea of the size of the project.
One billion trees÷500 trees on each 1.5 acre farm = 2,000,000 acres x .607 hectare = 1,200,000 hectare
The Net Present Value of trees over a 50 year span based on $15/ton of Carbon Emission Absorption
Each tree soaks up $15/ ton of carbon dioxide emissions over its lifetime of 50 years. These billion trees will soak up 15 billion tons of CO2 emissions. During the interim of 10 to 15 years it will take to adjust by replacing carbon emitting systems, these same billion trees will soak up 42% to 58% of emissions: 6.3 billion to 8.7 billion CO2.
To the best of our knowledge, no other company has tried to implement a conservation commitment on this scale, or using this approach. We hope that our leadership on this issue will encourage other companies around the world to urgently follow suit.
We can identify ten landscapes for agroforest efforts. Eastern and Southern Africa has a total of 226 million hectare of forests which make up 27.8% of the land area. (The world forest cover is 3,952 million hectares.)
In the meantime, Africa has lost 4.0 million hectares annually but there are signs that the net loss in Africa is decreasing unlike South America. But this is a different problem.
POWER PLANT CARBON EMISSIONS
The CO2 emissions of 50,000 power plants worldwide must be addressed: the major way that carbon dioxide emissions can by absorbed is by trees.
Annually, the 12 biggest CO2 polluting power plants in the United States are:
- The Scherer plant in Juliet, GA — 25.3 million tons
- The Miller plant in Quinton, AL — 20.6 million tons
- The Bowen plant in Cartersville, GA — 20.5 million tons
- The Gibson plant in Owensville, IN — 20.4 million tons
- The W.A. Parish plant in Thompsons, TX — 20 million tons
- The Navajo plant in Page, AZ — 19.9 million tons
- The Martin Lake plant in Tatum, TX — 19.8 million tons
- The Cumberland plant in Cumberland City, TN — 19.6 million tons
- The Gavin plant in Cheshire, OH — 18.7 million tons
- The Sherburne County plant in Becker, MN — 17.9 million tons
- The Bruce Mansfield plant in Shippingport, PA — 17.4 million tons
- The Rockport plant in Rockport, IN — 16.6 million tons
Let us analyze the worst polluting power plant: the Scherer plant in Juliet, GA — 25.3 million tons/year. In 10- 15 years it will be polluting at the rate of 253 to 380 million tons/year. During the same period of time our agroforest will soak up 6,300 million to 8,700 million CO2 emissions. That translates into allowing 25 – 30 polluting power plants in the United States to adjust to more sustainable systems over 10 – 15 years. We can identify ten landscapes for our agroforest efforts, which will address 250 -300 polluting power plants.
Here is how we begin OUR REVOLUTION.
Carbon Emission to be Solved
The world leaders must find a way to absorb carbon dioxide emissions that is in our atmosphere now. Trees and soils are the only way to absorb the present glut of CO2 in your world.
Presently these funds are improperly managed because they attempt to make the tax neutral by redirecting the fund for tax rebates to working families, cutting sales tax and reducing the tax on manufacturing. All this is very admirable but it doesn’t solve the high concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, which is presently causing global warming.
The Funds to Finance Rehabilitation
There are two sources of funds based on two different methods of absorbing carbon emissions: one from biochar in soils and the other from planting of trees.
On one hectare of farm land of 500 trees:
- Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) Fund for BIOCHAR IN SOILS
LND Fund seeks to mobilize US$2 billion annually; they estimate that the average cost of land rehabilitation is $100- $150/ha. In Africa, five countries have voluntary committed to LND including Senegal.
- 500 trees/hectare will yield 50 tons of Carbon from branches and weeds or (50 tons x ⅓) 16.7 tons of CO2 emission absorption from the production of
- The value of the capture of carbon in the form of Biochar is $250/year at the tax rate of $15/ton. (The LDN Fund offers $150/year based on $10/ton of carbon emissions.)
- The Carbon Tax Fund for TREES: the fund can support 500 trees for a total cost of $200/year for a period of 25 years plus an initial $750:
- There will be 500 trees with a NPV of $0.50/tree: at the rate of $15/ton, the Net Present Value (NPV) is $200/year.
- Add $1.00/tree for reporting and auditing for 25 years (that’s a one-off total – not per year): $500 to be monitored by Living Water MicroFinance Inc. for 25 years.
This part of the fund will support each 1.5 acre farm that will have access to $150/year n the form of micro finance assistance complements of the Carbon Tax Fund. Each $150 will be recycled nine times for a total of $1,350.
This micro finance will be made available to women farmers and their families who need support before the orchards become productive after 18 months: they will maintain this agroforest farms by planting vegetable like yam in between the new tree seedlings. The micro finance loan will be due after the harvest.
The tree farm is supported by a Today’s Tall Tree Nursery managed by Living Water MicroFinance Inc. in order to reduce the cost of tree seedlings. The fruit and nut tree seedlings along with nitrogen fixing trees are supplied by Today’s Tall Tree Nursery.
The reporting and auditing of trees for 25 years at the rate of $1.00/tree will help finance a Today’s Tall Tree Nursery to service over 100 hectare (beginning with 50,000 tree seedlings). The estimated fixed cost is $80,000. This decentralized system is preferable to the present centralized nurseries that have costly transportation costs for very vulnerable tree seedlings.
This calculation does NOT include income streams from the fruit and nut produce, which are reserved for the women farmers and their families. Later, irrigation can be added for a remunerative 275% crop improvement.
There will be a stipulation that all biomass on the 1.5 acre farm will be converted to Biochar every year. Creating Biochar on a farm involves incentives: the women farmer and her family will receive $150 based on the carbon tax rate of $15/ton for a total of 34 tons/year of carbon sequestered.
Living Water MicroFinance Inc. will arrange partnerships with African landlords (who provide a long term lease) for woman farmers and their families.

BILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS CAN’ T ALL BE WRONG!
Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is a relationship with God, your Creator, in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles.
HOW DO WE KNOW THIS?
Some Christian disciples use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress.
2. COMPLETE SENSE OF PEACE?
After you have been delivered from evil influences, you will have a definite physical experience of a complete sense of peace.
Once you experience a physical sense of peace because of deliverance, you know that you will be healed. This helps you build up your faith, which is very crucial: No faith! No healing!
Some Christian disciples have the gift of healing. Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.
THE WHOLE FAMILY BENEFITS
In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family. The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ. No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.
God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions shows a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17 (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.
The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.
Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in China in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today.
HOW IS JESUS STILL ALIVE TODAY?
Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.
Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.
This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.
He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical sense of peace.
DREAMS AND VISIONS
God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart. God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?
- Christians don’t shout, “I live a clean life!” Christians whisper “I feel lost, but now God found me and God forgives me.”
- Christians don’t speak with pride. They confess that they stumble and need Christ to be their guide.
- Christians don’t say,” I’m strong.” They say they try to be strong because they need strength.
- Christians don’t brag about success, but they admit that they fail and they need God to clean the mess.
- Christians don’t claim to be perfect, but God still believes in them.
- Christians still feel the sting of pain. They have their share of headaches but they still call upon His Name.
- Christians are not holier than others. They are simple sinners who receive God’s unbelievable Grace.
Christianity on a Table Napkin:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
God the Father will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain. We will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is The Holy Spirit will have made all things new. Eternal joy will begin. “For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is His name.” Luke 1: 49
Are we not like Barabbas who was justly condemned for murder, but saved by the innocent Jesus on the cross? Are we not like the adulterous woman, deserving of death by stoning, to whom Jesus says, “I do not condemn you”? And Jesus saved them both. In fact, Jesus came to earth specifically to look for and save those who were lost, like you.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool”. Isaiah 1:18
You may need some counseling with a pastor, priest or competent Christian worker, who will introduce you to a Short Course on Who is Jesus? Start by reading a short biography of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. Read several verses before going to bed and read the same verse upon arising. He will defend you from attacks of the enemy when you ask Him.
