KINETIC ENERGY AND OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to be the best in the world in micro hydro kinetic electric and water resource management: by evolving innovative damless hydroelectric and water transfer technology. We create Today’s Tall Tree Nurseries with agroforestry to support Micro Finance for women farmers and their families using the Carbon Tax Fund, a new form of foreign aid. We export Mechanization into Africa for more productive agriculture.
Electricity in Remote Areas created from moving water.
The poorest fifth of the world pays one-fifth of the world’s lighting bill – but receive only 0.1% of the lighting benefits. The problem is millions of dollars continue to be dumped into failed grid extension programs – not distributed clean energy markets to rectify the problem.
Electricity supply is worse in rural areas where four out of five people in Africa, are without electricity. The rate of rural electrification is lower than in any other continent. The proportion of people in Africa still depending on inefficient traditional energy sources is higher than in any other continent.
In rural Africa, estimates that a single cell phone charge in Africa, which costs about 20 cents, is about 100 times more expensive than in developed countries.
The dominant source of fuel in low-income African homes is wood which women and children spend many hours in search of. Electricity could extend study hours for these school children, and free up time for other activities for women. Deforestation with associated land erosion and desertification continue to worsen as trees are cut down for desperately needed fire wood. In general, the rate of electrification in Africa is lower than in any other continent!
Power blackout is a regular scene in cities, towns and villages across Africa with attendant negative impact on the quality of living and business productivity. Power plants and transmission lines across Africa, most of which were erected in the 1950s and 1960s operate today at just a fraction of installed capacity due to insufficient maintenance and lack of modernization.
Africa’s large dams (more than 1,270 at last count) have consistently been built at the expense of rural communities, who have been forced to sacrifice their lands and livelihoods to them yet have reaped few benefits.
Insufficient electricity production means low industrial productivity, low employment opportunities and increased emigration of Africa’s workforce to Europe and other places.
The Beginning of a Solution
Africa clearly needs energy development. Not one of the Millennium Development Goals is attainable without greater energy development. But the type and scale of energy development to meet the needs of the poor is considerably different than what is generally being planned for the continent. With the help of foreign dam-industry consultants, African governments are seeking funding for billions of dollars worth of large hydro power proposals and the expansion of transmission lines serving primarily urban and industrial areas.
The needs of the African community are important: social impacts, such as addressing specific rural needs, using local resources, and stimulating the local economy by creating skilled jobs. Too many poorly planned large dams have already failed to fulfill their goals.
Renewable, decentralized energy will give Africans greater independence to energy access and will help diversify the energy portfolio of African countries.
What you hear over and over again from those on the ground is that there is a desperate need for finance at all levels. What is needed today are public funds that catalyze the market. That’s where the World Bank and the IFC come in. Both are institutions mandated with alleviating poverty and both have ample amounts of relatively cheap public money to do so. The problem is to date they have not put their money where their mouth is on energy access.
The World Bank admits it is not well equipped to fund small projects with a big administrative overhead, such as small renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Governments should consider new funding mechanisms for innovative, small projects. It’s time institutions mandated to help the poor understand the current approach isn’t working and start getting it right.
A big part of the problem is cost. The main ingredients of conventional grid power (coal and copper) – are soaring and electricity is unaffordable.
If we want the poor to benefit from electricity, we cannot wait for the grid forever. We cannot rely on fossil fuels like China, which has a huge smog problem in most of its cities.
The Solution: Distributed Generation
This is synonymous with Decentralized Power, which will become a bigger component of smarter grids.
Most off-grid systems are supplied by diesel generators which entail unreliable and costly electricity. There are challenges with low population densities, weak customer bases, large distances and inadequate infrastructure.
Micro turbines will grow quite rapidly for another 5 to 10 years. The reason is that there’s a need for decentralized power generation and micro turbines are a major, familiar technology, known for many years.
Small power generators produce on average about 10 kW (for individual homes) to 2 MW (for communities) of electricity. While connected to and able to feed excess energy into the grid, these generators are simultaneously independent from the grid in that they can provide power even when power from the main grid is not available.
Synchronization in a decentralized power grid may actually be easier than previously thought, as a grid with many generators finds its own shared rhythm of alternating current:
- Small micro-grids covering 30–50 km radius
- Small power stations of 5–10 MW to serve the micro-grids
- Generate power locally to reduce dependence on long distance transmission lines and cut transmission losses (8% to15%).
Later other forms of energy can be added: a solar photovoltaic (PV) system of 130 W and a wind turbine of 150 W for wind speed.
One can change the business model of renewable energy structured in a way that allows the user to pay for the system over a longer period of time, such as 18 months, thereby decreasing the initial investment required to obtain such a system.
Enter the HUG!
Energy development that invests in a local energy sector and creates skilled jobs for Africans should be prioritized. Decentralized, Renewable Technologies such as HUG Micro-Hydro allow for higher rates of job creation and technology transfer.
In Uganda, for example, activists have for years worked to stop the Bujagali Dam and pressed for more appropriate energy options that would meet the needs of Uganda’s majority, who cannot afford grid electricity. We can make a convincing case for developing the HUG, which has the benefit of being much less expensive, more modular and decentralized than large hydro electric dams.
The choice between renewables and these dinosaur large dams that are costly to build and socially and environmentally destructive is clear. The last hurdle to revolutionizing our energy systems is our political will.
THE WATERFALL HUG
What we don’t want to do: spend $650 million on a tunnel system to capture energy from a waterfall.
What is more doable: a mobile Waterfall HUG that captures energy at a very low cost: $0.015/kWh
INNOVATION COMES TO AFRICA We believe that innovation in water distribution, irrigation and damless hydro projects are the solution.
AFRICAN MIDDLE CLASS A country cannot grow with only a rich class and a poor class! It is acknowledged that many living on US$2 to US$4 a day could easily slip back into poverty.
NEXT6 Our Living Water Investment Plan is where African entrepreneurs can share a customized business plan with us. The Investor receives a huge social benefit of helping to support small projects.

BILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS CAN’ T ALL BE WRONG!
Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is a relationship with God, your Creator, in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles.
HOW DO WE KNOW THIS?
Some Christian disciples use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress.
2. COMPLETE SENSE OF PEACE?
After you have been delivered from evil influences, you will have a definite physical experience of a complete sense of peace.
Once you experience a physical sense of peace because of deliverance, you know that you will be healed. This helps you build up your faith, which is very crucial: No faith! No healing!
Some Christian disciples have the gift of healing. Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.
THE WHOLE FAMILY BENEFITS
In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family. The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ. No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.
God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions shows a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17 (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.
The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.
Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in China in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today.
HOW IS JESUS STILL ALIVE TODAY?
Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.
Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.
This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.
He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical sense of peace.
DREAMS AND VISIONS
God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart. God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?
- Christians don’t shout, “I live a clean life!” Christians whisper “I feel lost, but now God found me and God forgives me.”
- Christians don’t speak with pride. They confess that they stumble and need Christ to be their guide.
- Christians don’t say,” I’m strong.” They say they try to be strong because they need strength.
- Christians don’t brag about success, but they admit that they fail and they need God to clean the mess.
- Christians don’t claim to be perfect, but God still believes in them.
- Christians still feel the sting of pain. They have their share of headaches but they still call upon His Name.
- Christians are not holier than others. They are simple sinners who receive God’s unbelievable Grace.
Christianity on a Table Napkin:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
God the Father will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain. We will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is The Holy Spirit will have made all things new. Eternal joy will begin. “For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is His name.” Luke 1: 49
Are we not like Barabbas who was justly condemned for murder, but saved by the innocent Jesus on the cross? Are we not like the adulterous woman, deserving of death by stoning, to whom Jesus says, “I do not condemn you”? And Jesus saved them both. In fact, Jesus came to earth specifically to look for and save those who were lost, like you.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool”. Isaiah 1:18
You may need some counseling with a pastor, priest or competent Christian worker, who will introduce you to a Short Course on Who is Jesus? Start by reading a short biography of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. Read several verses before going to bed and read the same verse upon arising. He will defend you from attacks of the enemy when you ask Him.
